How We Tested Maxi-Cosi Mico 30
We installed Maxi-Cosi Mico 30 in our sedan and let me tell you that while it is a great car seat, it takes a lot of space in our backseat. We needed to move the front seat all the way just to fit Mico 30 at the back. This is a problem specially if you are planning to use other car seats at the same time or if you have someone on the passenger side. We also tried using it with our Cybex Stroller, and it went right through without any adapter or additional device.

Safety
Mico 30 has AirProtect technology that provides protection from impact and an anti-rebound bar that prevents rotation in case of a collision (this protects your baby’s head and spine). Above all of that, this seat also features a LATCH installation for convenient use. You can install and remove it from your car with ease. It comes with an extra pillow to support newborns and preemies better.

What We Like
Safety isn’t the only thing you can expect from Mico 30, it also boasts an ergonomic handle for easy handling, a breathable fabric and keeps sweat away from your kids, and in case of any spillage, the fabric also dry’s quickly, which you can also remove and pop in your washing machine for a delicate cycle.
Mico 30 also has an XXL canopy which protects your baby from the harsh sun rays, wind or rain!
What We Don’t Like
Although the manufacturer say that the fabric used in this car seat is breathable, we found that our baby is sweatier than normal after using Mico 30 in our car rides, which is a big dealbreaker for us. Our baby has sensitive and delicate skin and too much sweat can cause rashes. We also found few reviews that backed our experience, one mother noticed that her child was irritable and sweaty no matter how cold she keeps her car. One review said that her baby developed an ugly rash before noticing that the fabric was not breathable.
